The Finnish Association of Nature and Environment Schools
Our path to sustainable development
Nature- and Environment schools support the educationalists
Nature- and environment schools respond to the challenge that knowledge alone doesn’t lead to understanding and wise actions. True knowledge comes from experience, learning by doing, when all of your body is present: all your senses, your heart and mind, hands and feet.
Nature- and environmental schools teach according to the thoughts of sustainable development - in a real environment.
The purpose of the Association of Nature- and Environment schools is to promote the work of the nature- and environmental schools and their working conditions in Finland. At this site you can find basic information about the work of the nature- and environmental schools. This site also serve as an information channel and communication tool.
